Camp Can-Aqua Privacy Policy For Campers And Families
In order to meet the needs of our campers and have the ability to care for them we must collect personal information about them and their families. We do so through the:
  • camper application form
  • parent questionnaire
  • medical form
  • and other information that is provided by the parent
All of the information gathered is stored and processed in a secure manner in our locked office.
The information is given only to those staff who are directly involved in providing a service to your camper or as required by law.
If information is given out to a service provider (such as a bus company for example) employed by Camp Can-Aqua, we have made certain that the service provider and its employees have a privacy policy that prevents them from using the information for any other purpose than that for which they were hired.
We do not sell or rent your family information to any company, organization or individual. Even when asked for any personal information of a camp family by other camp families, we will not provide them with any information without first asking consent by the family about which the information was requested.
Besides the care and possible transportation of your camper and our ability to communicate with you and your family, we may use the information on hand for statistical analysis or to develop programs.
We do retain your information to communicate with you and provide you with newsletters, brochures and camper application forms.
Unless you have a concern and contact the director our privacy policy officer, Camp Can-Aqua will assume that you understand that we can collect, use, disclose as necessary and store information as set out in our privacy policy above.
If you do not accept our privacy policy and decline to allow us to use your personal information or that of your camper, Camp Can-Aqua may not be able to provide the care and service to make your child safe in our setting and we will need to discuss the status of your application for your camper.
Camp staff and junior counsellors should visit our website or contact the director for privacy information pertaining to them.

  • Medical form
  • Newsletters
  • Address mailing lists
  • Staff photos
  • Camp collages
  • Request for references
Staff agreements and medical forms are stored and processed in a secure manner in our locked office.
The information is given only to those staff/campers or individuals where it is deemed necessary or as required by law.
We do not sell or rent your information to any company, organization or individual. We may use the information on hand for statistical analysis or to develop programs.
We do retain your information to communicate with you and provide you with newsletters and agreements.
