Camp Can-Aqua has
been making maple syrup since 1991 and has evolved from a traditional operation of 30 taps on buckets, boiling in a turkey pan,
to more than 3,000 taps on pipeline.
Our present operation is very modern using vacuum on the pipeline, reverse osmosis to concentrate the sap before boiling in a 4’ X 14’ oil fired evaporator. All our equipment is selected to insure we are making the highest quality, pure maple product. |

We started selling supplies and equipment in 1992 and continue to carry a large inventory of the
most common supplies and equipment the hobbyist or commercial producer might need. Camp Can-Aqua services producers in the
Bancroft / Haliburton / Barry’s Bay and surrounding areas on a cash and carry basis only. Please note, there is no mail
order available. We cater to the needs of small and large producers providing constructive advice at all stages. We are
just a phone call away.
While it functions at different times of the year there is a direct relationship between Camp Can-Aqua maple activities and Camp Can-Aqua Summer Children’s Camp. |
