Who Are Alumni? |
|
|
If you attended Camp Can-Ski (1981-1990) or Camp Can-Aqua (1991-present) in any role – Camper,
Junior Counsellor or Staff – then you are a member of this special group. |
|
|
You are not considered a member of the Alumni if you are currently involved with the camp as a
Camper, Junior Counsellor or Staff. We invite you to enjoy the history of Can-Ski and Can-Aqua through the photos and
Fun-Ski Lodge. |
|
|
As Alumni, you are important to us. Whether you were a Camper, Junior Counsellor or Staff member
your contribution created ‘memories of a lifetime.’ Many of you formed friendships that have survived and thrived well
after camp. As Alumni, you know the enjoyment, fun and positive impact camp can have on a young person’s life. There are
no better spokespeople than those who have experienced camp first hand. |

What Can I Do As An Alumni |

Write a Letter |
|
Send us a short note telling us how camp impacted your life. We will use one story in our Camper
Fall and Winter Newsletters to help parents understand the true long-term benefits of camp. |
|
|
Plan to come for a visit or to work for a day or two. |
|
Come and join a growing legion of alumni who return to Camp each summer for a few days. These
intrepid, once-upon-a-time counsellors volunteer a day or two or a week to reconnect with camp life. |
|
|
Introduce a Kid to Camp by bringing them for a Tour |
|
You already know the value, importance and fun camp can be. Now, share the secret with a young
person you know. Whether it’s your own children, a niece or nephew, or a kid you think will benefit from the positive
experience camp provides, jump in the car and come for a tour and a visit. |

Tell Can-Aqua about a family that should receive an info package or personal contact. |
